highcharts-php

highcharts-php is a PHP library to interact with the Highcharts JS charting library. Reading from the official documentation:

“Highcharts is a charting library written in pure JavaScript, offering an easy way of adding interactive charts to your web site or web application”.

The reason behind the highcharts-php project is to offer a useful tool to PHP developers to automatically generate Highcharts JS code starting from some PHP data.

The software is available for free download at:

Please, refer to the wiki page for more information about its usage.

com_prof3tablog

This is a really simple component for people who want to manage a very basic blog within their Joomla! website. If you’re bored, like I am, about WYSIWYG editors and all their related problems (embedded videos and other multimedia objects, strange formatting results, useless paragraphs and strange html symbols :p) try this blog component. Keyword here is “Keep it simple!”. Write the HTML for your blog entries by yourself and your blog will be cleaner and better. I’m going to add categories, tags, rss and everything is needed. For now, enjoy this very simple version.

com_prof3tablog is available at:

joomla-picasa

This Joomla! 1.5 component allows you to create an eye-candy photo gallery within your Joomla! website. It uses the Zend libraries to connect to the Picasa Web Servers and the lightbox and instant scripts to obtain cute graphic effects.

Joomla Picasa is available at:

joomla-flickr

This Joomla! 1.5 component allows you to create an eye-candy photo gallery within your Joomla! website. It uses the phpFlickr libraries to connect to the Flickr Web Servers and the lightbox and instant scripts to obtain cute graphic effects. The project is now in stable version. Please, refer to the Project Home Page for information about install.

    • Ehm… Which gallery are you talking about? The Flickr or the Picasa one?

What do you mean by “it’s not included in the script”? :S

  3. Hello, great component, this prof3tablog…

However, was wondering about adding some cols to the textarea? Right now, its very thin, which doesnt allow for ease of use, especially when you start writing HTML…

IS there a quick fix for this? I was looking at the included files, and cannot locate the form in order to make the change…

    Thanks.

  4. Roberto, I tried your Joomla Blog component (com_prof3tablog) and liked it very much.
Is it possible for registered users to add blog posts/comments in the frontend?

  6. highcharts-php does not work correctly. The demo code on the web page does not work. Notes by others on the wiki page confirm this.
Please post a working demo example with some sample data in the data arrays.
